I live in an ancient cottage in acres of Essex woodland that I call unspoilt and others call an untamed wilderness. Zoë, a Border collie, shares this rural idyll and of course, so does my husband.
Over the years I have worked as a nanny, a secretary, a cleaner, a restaurateur, an hotelier, a Secondary and Primary teacher but am now, finally, a writer. Throughout the years I never doubted that I would become a published author. My cupboard filled with half-written books, ideas and unfinished stories.
I write because I have to, I would do it anyway, but knowing other people are enjoying my stories makes all the angst and scribbling worth while.
I have eight hardbacks published by Robert Hale and a ninth coming out in October 2009. There are five Large Print versions available by Thorpe with two more coming out this year.
There are now four novellas out with My Weekly Pocket Novels and two more due this year. All these are then released by Linford Romance as Large Print paperbacks.
A DEBT OF HONOUR - set in Dedham, famous for being the stamping ground of the artist John Constable. This came out in February 2008. The seventh book for Robert Hale. THE HOUSE PARTY- was released in July of 2008. THE GHOSTS OF NEDDINGFIELD HALL was published in December 2008.
Miss Bennet & Mr Bingley - the Pride and Prejudice story seen from a different perspective - will be available on Amazon and elsewhere in April 2009. It's on Lulu.com now.
Don't forget all my books can be borrowed from your local library if you live in the UK and bought from Amazon everywhere else.
